    All SDI channels support any flavor of SDI up to 12G, and they can easily transport different simultaneous frame rates and resolutions without complication. All ancillary information and metadata will be sent faithfully, because the system does not convert, digitize, or synchronize any signal.

    Analog transparency has been engineered into every signal channel in the system. This means all signals arrive instantaneously withzero sync issues: never lose audio, timecode or reference. A unique and patented three-input SDI cross converter and multi-signal switching device for camera operator viewfinders. Using a single return channel, prodfuction crews can deploy simple HD camera monitors and toggle an instantaneous RETURN feed switching between three separate inputs.

Key Features:

  • Allows three different switched returns (including MON OUT) on a single optical RET channel

  • Transforms provideo / cine cameras into a typical live / broadcast operator monitoring experience.

Typicallly the operator would use the zoom demand to toggle RET between 1. the primary monitor output which includes all of the image overlays and camera information, 2. the clean SDI output with no obstructions, and 3. the switched program feed with graphics etc.

VSE-700 sends the zoom demand serial trigger output along with SDI 1 and 2 inputs which are sent back to the CCU / Basestation. The VSE-700 takes the “dirty” SDI output as the primary VF monitor and then uses the clean SDI out and the program feed from the production switcher as RET inputs.

The VSE-700 also cross converts all three signals to an HD resolution allowing instantaneous return switching on a single RET channgel

Universal Hybrid SMPTE Fiber Optic Camera Power Interface.

Quickly and easily convert a SMPTE 311 camera chain or CCU into a single-mode fiber optic cable signal for connection in campus, facilities or other long-distance transmissions. When paired with the TA-100A on the CCU / Base station side, productions can simplify their installation by connecting to cable runs up to 10km which can drop close to camera locations and convert to powered SMPTE 311. The PB-300 system injects power and converts to a SMPTE 311 signal connection, allowing drastically shorter SMPTE cable runs removing heavy SMPTE looms, as well as saving time and budget. These units can be ordered with ST, SC, LC or other single mode connectors depending on the operating requirement.
